Love camping here with my family, the campgrounds are very spacious and all very close to the quarry. I did have an incident with the staff however. I had told them I was under the age of 18 when I am in fact almost 19. While this was wrong of me to do I believe the way that the staff member who was working handled it wrong. I only lied because I think it's a little ridiculous to have to purchase a separate campsite for myself just to be able to sleepover at my families campsite they had already purchased. The following day my sister had gone up to purchase another wristband and was given an attitude from the worker and was questioned multiple times as to why she needed a day pass??? She then proceeded to call my mother after the incident and complain to us as well as threaten to take away their season passes. While I apologize for my lying, I do believe that the way it was handled was inappropriate.

We've been seasonal at Windmill Point for three years now and can't wait for next season. Its vecomenour second home and the residents our extended family.
Nice place to bring the family for camping. Huge quarry for swimming, recreational area for live music and volley ball courts
Great park. Pet friendly. Water was great. Only thing I will mention is that there is not a whole lot of trees that provide shade.
